Change starts with education, education starts with books

A space to get Exposed, Experience and Experience with books

Reader's Sanctuary is a flagship project of Lead Read Foundation, which is a nonprofit organization registered under section 8 of company Act 2013. It embodies the belief that reading is not just a skill but a catalyst for leadership and change. The name reflects the idea that those who read can lead—both in personal growth and in shaping their communities. Rooted in the philosophy that literacy empowers individuals to think critically, make informed decisions, and break free from cycles of poverty.

Great Readers make Great Writers, and Great Writers make Great Communicators, and Great Communicators make Great Persuaders and Great Persuaders makes Great Societies. Luke Bakic

Reader’s Sanctuary Joins The Circle Incubation Cohort 2025

We are thrilled to share that Reader’s Sanctuary has been selected to join Cohort 2025 of The Circle Incubation.

Over the last ten weeks, our team has been part of The Circle’s Sandbox process, a journey that encouraged us to pause, reflect, and reimagine what it takes to create meaningful impact. It was a space of learning and unlearning, where we not only refined our ideas but also built deep relationships with fellow changemakers.

At Reader’s Sanctuary, our vision has always been to create joyful Reading & Learning spaces where children in slums and schools, can discover books, build imagination, and strengthen life skills. Joining The Circle is an important step forward in making this vision a reality. Through their 18-month incubation program, we will design, launch, and scale Reader’s Sanctuary with stronger foundations and greater reach.

What excites us most is that this opportunity also connects us to The Circle Network, a community of schools and after-school programs committed to building transformational life outcomes for children. As part of this collective, we gain not just mentorship and guidance, but also a lifetime of collaboration and solidarity.

This milestone fills us with gratitude and renewed energy. We are thankful to The Circle team for believing in our work, and to our community for continuously reminding us why we began this journey. Together, we are one step closer to building a world where every child grows up with access to books, learning, and possibilities.
